NVQs

NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) are work-related, competence-based qualifications which reflect the core skills and knowledge required to do a job.

Our learndirect Business NVQs are structured so your employees can be trained through online courses at a time, pace and place to suit the business, as well as being assessed at work.

We currently offer NVQs at level 2 in Customer Service, IT, Business Improvement Techniques and Health and Social Care.

University qualifications through work based learning

Work based learning is the perfect way for those that wish to gain a university qualification using projects they've completed at work. The Learning through Work distance learning scheme can be completely tailored to you and your employers' needs allowing you flexibility to gain a degree qualification whilst working.

Literacy and numeracy

Whatever their age, whatever their job, a good understanding of basic maths and English skills is essential if your employees are to be productive and effective at work.

Leadership and Management Qualifications

We offer a range of courses, which help you and your staff work towards the following nationally recognised qualifications from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM):

• Introductory Certificate in Team Leading
• Introductory Certificate in First Line Management
• Certificate in First Line Management (Full Certificate)

To get the knowledge you need to sit for the qualification you will need to do the compulsory course(s) required, but can then choose from a selection of other courses. This gives you the flexibility to tailor your learning to your or your staff's individual needs - depending on skills and past experience.

Food Hygiene Qualifications
