Environment and Land-based Industries

As a Sector Skills Council, Lantra is an employer-led organisation, licensed by government to lead the drive to boost skills and workforce development in the environmental and land-based sector across the UK. Lantra represents the interests of over 360,000 businesses and 1.5 million workers in 17 industries clustered around land management and production, animal health and welfare and environmental conservation.

Lantra works with employers to identify the skills challenges of our industries and build partnerships with employers, government, key organisations and providers of training to address them.
